Diving in Dahab

Sinai coast of Aquaba Bay has good condition for diving. Coral reefs are along all the coast. Most diving sites are possible enter just from the beach and you will find beautiful coral garden, incredible walls, caves and canyons. Water visibility varies from 20 m to 30 m or more. Water temperature is 27-28°C in summer, and 21°C in winter (Temperature Table).

Diving requirements

Diving qualification and logbook. Before first dive the divers have to identify us with their diving certification and logbook. We accept all international diving certifications. If your last dive was more than 6 months before, we require a refresher dive.

Diving guide

For all groups who dive with us, we supply a divemaster/diveguide. The guide is required by new Egyptian law, for the safety of each person. He is responsible for tanks, timing, transfer, choosing the destination of each dive, obtaining permission for some diving sites, where it's required and last but not least, briefing before the dive.

Diving organizations

Every guest can choose diving sites and diving program. Morning we will arrange transfer from hotel to our center. Usually divers are leaving center for two dives in small groups with their guide. Between dives there is possibility to get some drinks or lunch in small restaurant near sites and usually they are back in Dahab around 4 PM.
Around Dahab there are more than 20 diving sites we can visit by car, all within 10-40 minute from our diving center. The most famous places are: Lighthouse, Islands, Eel Garden, Abu Helal, Abu Talha, The Canyon and Little Canyon, Rex Reef, Blue Hole, The Bells, Three Pools, Caves, Southern Oasis, Sharks Cave, Um Sid and Shahera.
Our customers can choose where they want to go the following day, or we can advise the best place for the next day, according to their certification level and weather conditions. Of course most dives is suitable for Nitrox.
