Diving center PLANET DIVERS - PADI 5 Star Dive Center

Our diving center was born only in 1999, but we have a lot of experience with diving in the Red Sea. Peter, manager, technical instructor and medical doctor, diving since 1978, has experience from technical and cave diving expeditions to Cuba, Mexico, Tanzania, Zaire, Philippines, Europe and of course Red Sea, as well, from Egypt throu Sudan to Yemen. Our partner "Sheikh" Mohammed has 15 year experience in the Sinai and his knowledge about diving and traveling in Sinai, makes our diving center most outstanding. Management at our diving center can guarantee a usual high European standard of service and East European hospitality. You can read some our customer`s letters.
The center was situated 4 years in the Bamboo House Hotel. Unfortunately the road to our center was closed from the front and then even from the back by high stonewall (against flood). In this situation we found nice new place for diving center near Lighthouse area. After renovation we moved to our new resort PLANET OASIS on the 13. October 2003.

Diving equipment

We are equipped with 3 compressors: Bauer K-180 (620 l/min), Bauer K-14 Silent Verticus (320l/min) and small portable Coltri for safari to remote areas. 260 aluminum 12 and 14 L tanks with DIN/INT valve or some with double valve DIN. Part of them for Nitrox and Trimix, 12 double tank set (2x12, 2x14, 2x15, even 2x20 L), some steel 15 L and 20 L tanks with doubble valve, as well. See Tec-Diving Equipment

Soon in year 2000 we install system for continuous blending of Nitrox (till 40%) for recreational diving and modern panel for partial pressure blending for Trimix and Nitrox (over 40%).

Renting tanks

The new Egyptian laws don't allow the renting of tanks to groups or divers, who don't have with them a local guide, who knows the diving conditions in Dahab.

Other services

The prices for diving include lockers for your valuables, washing of your equipment in fresh water, drying areas for your own equipment, etc. We offer photography development in Happy Snapper Fujilab with discounts, renting underwater cameras, and underwater video production. We can edit your underwater videofilms in with our professional equipment. Or record on CD your photos, if you have not enough memory with you.
