Dahab In the southern
part of Sinai we can find a colorful small town, its name is DAHAB.
In present time, it is a very popular place for tourists from all over
the world. This place is beginning to become one of the highlights
for people, who spend a couple of days in Egypt. Dahab was an old
Beduin village, still today it has an exotic face: a shallow sandy bay,
lot of date palms, red colored mountains in distant view. We can't find
this amount of palms in one place on the rest of Sinai cost,
as we do in Dahab. In this small town we can also find lots of small
shops, restaurants, small hotels and of coarse, a papyrus museum. The typical
Arab atmosphere is multiplied by a Beduin village with its camels and the
beautiful colors of the Beduin women's dress.
The
shore of Aquaba Bay is well known, as a very good windsurfing and diving
place. For surfing it has approx. 200 windy days per year. For diving there
are more than 20 diving locations with colorful corals and fishes. Some of the worlds
famous sites are Canyon, Blue Hole or Islands. From this city we also can make
a one, or more days, camel diving safari to the remote area,
arriving at such places as Gabr el Bint or Ras Abu Gallum.
Adventurous people who like camel riding, can arrive at these diving sites,
which are untouched areas, and can only reached with camels.

lies 85 km from the Sharm el Sheikh airport, 150 km from Eilat
and 550 km from Cairo. The last destination is a little

Masbat, we can find hotels, banks, post, lots of small shops, travel
